Dog, I tried to go on a similiar dig but the hood let me down. I went twice at 1:30 in the afternoon and both times the store was closed. How the hell you gonna be closed in the afternoon. I am sure that one employee that works there said, "Fuck it, I'm goin do my Christmas shopping today." Bitch ass motherfuckers.
I should have learned by now, Can't rely on Gary for shit.

I have these in various formats. That Isley Bros. album is one of my favorites and contains two of their best tracks: Footsteps in the Dark and Voyage to Atlantis!

oh man, this i gotta hear... what happened,, went to go vinyl-huntin and i was flippin thru the 'new arrivals' box...found a copy of the album, they wanted like $5 for it. i asked the lady behind the counter to put it on the turntable for me (the other turntable in the place was bein used by some other customer) so i could hear how it sounds. she said "okay", put it on, and it skipped right before the first song. because of that one blemish, she let me have it for a dollar. i got home, put it on my turntable and it played without a hitch.

Commodoores-Midnight Magic About a month ago,I went to a used record store and found almost every Commodores album from the 70s,and I bought them all.My copy of 'Natural High' even comes with a full-color advertisement insert for their tour merchandise (T-shirts,Tourbooks,posters,etc),and info on how to join their fanclub...lol... The only Commodores album that I need to find is 'Movin On'(1975).

There's only one really big used record store in my area on the outskirts of town and every time I go, they have the same old shit. I go about once every six months but usually I'm not lucky.
I'll never forget this one time though, I had just stepped through the door and there was this big crate of records sitting on the counter with a bunch of good records that I didn't have. The owner told me this ex DJ had just came in and sold a lot of his record collection and she hadn't had time to put them up yet. I wasn't prepared for this big of a find, so I had to put them on my credit card. Word through the grapevine is he was strung out on crack. I wish I had seen him first. I would have given him a few dollars for the records, he would have been happy, and so would I. Andy is a four letter word.
