Has anyone heard any news? When is his new CD gonna be released?

REMY SHAND WINS AT THE JUNO AWARDS.
Remy Shand won a Juno Award on Sunday night in Canada for Best R&B/Soul Recording. He also performed on the show and thanked members of the Motown staff personally in his acceptance speech for their undying support. Currently Remy is in the studio working on his Fall release. Influenced heavily by the sounds of Al Green and Marvin Gaye growing up, Shand says there was a great deal of culture he was exposed to while growing up in Winnipeg, Canada.

Well it didn't come out fall 2003, let alone fall 2004.

Last year,a new Remy Shand song called "A Day In The Shade" began circulating among fans.I even started a thread about it...

But we haven't heard anything since! Is he still with Motown? I know they've been having alot of problems lately and some major personnel changes.

my wife's from Canada too but I'll bet my bottom dollar she never ever heard of him even though I had his debut CD on powerplay for quite some time when it came out

"Take A Message" warps me right back into my first year studying music at Grande Prairie Regional College. That single was really huge.

I just went to the official Motown site ( www.Motown.com ) and Remy's name is still listed on their roster,so apparently he's still on the label.
