Definitely a doll that could sing. They need to do something about the tired MIDI file on that memorial site though. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

It's too bad you don't have access to this L.A. radio station (K-EARTH 101). They've been running their Top 300 Hits of All Time show. Don't agree with the rankings but some great tunes nonetheless. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. She's one of those women who makes me wish I could travel back in time and treat with the love and respect they deserved. Add Dorothy Dandridge to the list, too. My author page: https://www.amazon.com/au...eretttruth

sadly the great and beautiful Tammi Terrell had been through some hard times, she was dating James Brown in the early 60s and he used to beat her badly..then she meets David Ruffin who again beat on her. those beatings resulted in her untimely death

It's debatable whether or not they were a factor in tumor development. Bunch of bastards, though. I wonder if she would have eventually married Marvin. [Edited 1/2/05 13:25pm]

[Edited 1/2/05 13:25pm] Yeah, I think the subject of her death is still a foggy matter after all these years. And lol no, Marvin wouldn't marry her,,according to him(from the Divided Souls bio) he said "She was raw, wild, carefree and wasn't nothing to sneeze at. And no man could dominate that woman, not even Berry Gordy himself which I loved about her." then he said that he wouldn't get 2ghether with her becoz the independent kind wasn't his type.

What he said and what he might have done are two completely different things, though. From what I gather he loved her very much, and her death was.....well, you know what happened to him.

Can't argue with that altho I still understand his kind from what he said about her. Through out the WHOLE bio, it sounded like he's intimidated of "women made of steel",,,hey lol some brothas are still intimidated by that kind of women and they don't want a wifey material rather than a wild child.
