It's on Prince Markie Dee and The Soul Convention debut album entitled "Free"...She's actually down with Prince Markie and is singing on more than one track. "Trippin' Out" was played alot on radio, you may know it when you hear it. The album cover is blue, if I can find it I will post it for you.

someone said "together again" and, while i can see how it can be viewed as depressing, i've always thought the song to be extremely celebratory. anyway...some songs that come to my mind (though not necessarily "dance" songs but certainly upbeat):
