Rah Digga

What's up with her follow-up to 2000's "Dirty Harriet"?

Her song "Party & Bulls**t" got a lot of play in the clubs last year and she was supposed to have an album out, but it never came to light.

Anyone know what's up?

I liked "Party & Bullsh*t"! Hasn't she been acting, too?

Carmen (Hip hop opera, or something) and 13 Ghosts. Haven't seen either, though.

She got dropped by J records last i heard and the follow up album "Everything is a story" shelved....she does have a few Mixtapes out one "The wrong bitch to fuck with" and a more recent one "Queen of the dammed"...I love me some Digga however what i did hear her mention on Rap City about a year ago when the album was supposed to drop was it had alot of cameos on it...she is good for out shining her guest appearances. She is also down with the Murda Mamis hip hop coglomerate with D.J.Lazy K.,Mami Chula of ATL,Lady tribe of LA,and fellow ryhmestresses Remy Martin and Shawnna.

Oh, no. So "Everything..." is shelved indefinitely? Man, these are the times when leaking albums to file share services come in handy. Maybe if the album was leaked and the industry saw the demand for the material, we'd get an official release. That's so corny that it's taking over 5 years for a follow-up to Dirty Harriet. It's like they want to kill her commercially. And what happened to Busta? Last thing I heard from him was "Light Your A** On Fire" and his cameo in LumIdee's "Never Leave You (Remix)" but that was 2003.

hopefully it's not shelved indefinitely...but I haven't heard of her being re-signed...I wouldn't hold my breath though...industry politics isn't nice to female rappers.

Speaking of such, there's a hot track by Bahamadia & Rah Digga called "Female Rappers."

"...mediocre rappers gettin' all this play
while the underground rappers stay around the way
even up and comin' heads gettin' lead astray
but us female rappers gonna be okay..."

Busta's on Dr Dre's Aftermath records, so is Eve. How ironic about Eve leaving Ruff Riders for Aftermath. She was on Aftermath originally when she was known as Eve of Destruction. However, Dre didn't have enough time to develop and work with her so she bounced.

I hope Digga gets signed, if not already.. The remix of Party and Bullsh** with Missy and Eve is hot also.
