James Brown vs. Prince James Brown vs. Prince, not as artist but as in, who had the better associates.
James had the JB's, Bobby Byrd, Lyn Collins, Vicki Anderson, Hank Ballard and others. Tammi Terrell got her start with James before Marvin got to her. Prince had the Time, Vanity/Appalonia 6, Morris Day, Jesse Johnson, Shelia E, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and others. Who had better artist around them. PRINCE: Always and Forever
