I see that you've included the Spanish version of "Come Back To Me". Then does the French version of "Again" count as an extra track also? And I know "French Blue" is just a dub medley of her Jesse Johnson produced tracks, but might that one be included also? Just wondering.

There is only one version of "Could This Be Love," and it's unreleased. The song never appeared on any domestic or international print of Damita Jo.

Is it a good track? Obviously a jam/lewis cut. I loved Johnny's first couple of solo's. I heard a rumour that were together? Anyway, is it a ballad or a slow jam?

I don't know how to take your last statement.

Are you trying to say being "gay" is a bad thing or negative?

I don't think it's either but it’s probably more of a rumour but I think Janet was really geared up to do it. Missy's third album should have had more singles (it only had two videos!) and I think Janet was all about doing the track but time didn't permit somehow. Then again, maybe it was recorded, just not released.

It was recorded. Miss-Janet.com's Scream news section (a very reputable source for Janet news) listed that a video was supposed to be made for the track back in May 2003. All of a sudden, the remix video was nixed.

I remember in 1986,I read an article/interview on Janet in Black Beat magazine. She mentioned a song called "You Stole My Heart",which was co-written and produced by Jesse Johnson, but it was left off the 'Control' album. This is a deeply personal song about Janet's first marriage to that Debarge guy.During the interview,Janet started crying when she spoke of this song.

Separately,I recall a Jesse Johnson interview from this same period, and he mentioned that he produced a few tracks for 'Control' that were left off the album. So if this CD ever gets remastered, there are several songs that could be included as bonus tracks.

I love Janet and I'm not gay. But then again, I also love Siouxsie And The Banshees, Tori Amos and Geri Halliwell and I have a huge Madonna 12" single collection. Does that make me gay? smile

Shouldn't "French Blue" be part of the 'Dream Street' era? It's on the b-side of my "Fast Girls" 12".

I'll have to check when I go home tonight. I'm pretty sure it wasn't any sort of reissue--just a regular A&M promo.

It says 1984 on it. I'm assuming it was released around the same time as the 7" at the end of that year.

Janet also wrote two more songs with Dallas called "If You Want To" and "Let It Go" for the Damita Jo sessions.

She did something with jazz musician Stanely Clarke called "Lucky Again."

Also does anyone know what sessions the song "You've Been On My Mind" came from?

Composers:
ANDREWS MELANIE RENEE BMI 207320706
HARRIS JAMES SAMUEL III ASCAP 125105225

LEWIS TERRY STEVEN ASCAP 125215020
