Now, I'm all for aging stars finding new ways to earn an honest dollar. Frankly, the standards route is a bit hackneyed, but hey. He's world famous and I'm typing on a music site late at night.

Be that as it may, he butchered that song. I'd rather not get on his lack of pitch, his rarity of nuance or originality -- suffice it to say, it stank.

he's really overstayed his welcome with the whole "crooning the oldies" comeback schtick. not to mention he had one of the ugliest album covers of 2004.
