Favorite soundtrack album or song from a film or television show

Mine are:

"Colors of the Wind" by Vanessa Williams from Pocahontas... I still get chills from this one; it's a great song
"A Whole New World" from Aladdin... These have childhood memories

Parade...basically every song

Romeo + Juliet soundtrack

more I can't think of now

I'm kinda partial to "This is How It Works" by TLC (from, of all things, the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack). This is one s-e-x-e-e track, wherein a young Lisa Lopes purrs, "Make it bounce to the muthafuckin' ounce!" horny

I must say, a lot of you have crap taste looking at this thread so far. Probably 'Love Theme from Bladerunner' by Vangelis on the Bladerunner soundtrack.

I got that one. good stuff particually as I don't really dig instrumentals.

I like "metropolis" soundtrack alot.

"I2I" by tevin campbell and rosie gaines (from Disney "a goofy movie")

"why should I worry"- Billy Joel- Oliver and co.
"steets of gold" Ruth pointer-oliver and co.
"once upon a time in new york city"- Huey Lewis- olvier and co.

"land before time" soundtrack brings tears to my eyes it's so beutiful!

That is not the songs off the shitty sequels either. There is 1 vocal track, a Diana Ross one, and it is a good song too....."if we hold on together"

Ennio Morricone is probably the most prolific s/t composer of all time - his most famous piece is "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly"'s theme. The Mission is his best recording, I reckon...
