Celebrity Soap Operas

I have a friend, a HUGEEEEE Britney SPears fan
She knows everything about this woman, even the most intimate details
i ask her how she gets her info, she just tells me "Its out there"
and she was right, picked up a magazine(that wasn't a tabloid)
and their it was, whole mess of stuff

I felt like i was living under a rock, because the day i found out Britney got married
was when the Britney Fans on the Org Posted Rampant,

I mean this Information is so easily Accessible, Perhaps its all just a stunt,
Alot of Celebrities are always in the lime Light good or bad,
just love the Attenion
And then you have your other Celebs that just like to keep to themselves,
I watched an Interview with Sting, and he said something that shocked me
"I don't care what they write about me"
and i notice that the "Media, doesn't really focus on celebs that keep to themselves, Like your Prince's,Stings,LL Cool J, Will Smith And even Sometimes Madonna
they generally keep to themselves,
My theory is that these artist are Stable enough in their Careers that they don't need to go Gallavanting?
mmm?
Maybe the media doesn't stalk ya, if you have nothing to hide?

i thinks with some celebs, it's an addiction. they want to stay in the limelight so they put their shit out there, or they make sure that their business is able to be leaked to the gossip hounds. or maybe some celebs don't even have such scandalous lives, but they make shit up to give the tabloids what they want, and then those celebs can have a laugh about it with their friends because they know what BS it is. i think britney loves every last column inch devoted to her.

I totally Agree

I've always thought that the media just hunted you down,

Thats why i always have the jitters when an oppurtunity presents itself, to be present in the Lime Light

But i think its the celebs that just hunt the media down...

It's all about spin and buzz too. Dateline NBC did a story on how when a tabloid gets a "candid" shot of a celeb it ain't no accident. So Britney getting carried out of the club drunk isn't an accident either. Celebs go to clubs and call the tabloids so pics can be taken, all to keep a certain level of buzz out there. They say for music celebs it helps to stay hip with the clubgoing crowd because they are supposedly the ones who will love you and buy your stuff. I can't 100% disagree with this notion but what do I know?

All you gotta do is read Us Weekly. It's a great trash magazine, and I'm contantly amazed by how much private stuff celebs will give to these magazines themselves.

yup, it's true. and then they complain when they want to turn it off, but the tabloids are making too much money off of them to want to comply.

i remember when Us Weekly was actually a pretty decent magazine. until EW came along, anyway. now it's like the trashier version of People for god's sake disbelief
