Gosh, I'm too lazy to do this. Let's say 10 out of 20 songs in my list would be by Jacques Brel. And aren't we in need of some Janis?

How come no one has yet mentioned "Winchester Cathedral" by The New Vaudeville Band or "They're Coming To Take Me Away, Ha Haaa!" by Napoleon XIV? You can't make a best of the 60s list without including those!

I guess my list is fairly cliched - lots of Beatles and Dylan, but I'm certainly not going to apologize for that. However, I might express a little regret for putting Leopard-Skin Pillbox Hat on a list when I haven't even included one song by the Beach Boys or the Small Faces.

Anyway, off the top of my head:

1. Like A Rolling Stone
2. It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes a Train To Cry
3. Leopard-Skin Pillbox Hat - all by Dylan
4. And Your Bird Can Sing
5. Strawberry Fields Forever
6. Ticket To Ride
7. Help
8. Run Run Run – Velvet Underground
9. Cyprus Ave – Van Morrison
10. Hot Burrito #1 – Flying Burrito Brothers
11. The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine Anymore – Walker Bros
12. Time of the Season – Zombies
13. Don’t Bring Me Down – The Pretty Things
14. Paperback Writer
15. Waterloo Sunset – Kinks
16. Shape of Things – Yardbirds
17. You Set The Scene – Love
18. Fall On You – Moby Grape
19. Jackie – Scott Walker
20. Gimme Shelter - Stones

Edit - I forgot Nature's Way by Spirit - take the Moby Grape song off, I guess...
