Did anyone inform you this was ever actually going to be released? I stopped holding my breath in 2003. Now I watch Prison Song and accept that's the only Q-Tip performance I will be receiving.

Is that for real? I'd heard things aren't too cuddly between the boys. They bailed out on Raphael's NY live show a few months ago, and, as a result, he was apparently talking trash about them for the whole set. I don't think that's true. Dwayne was on "Rifle Love" from Raphael's new album and he recently said in an interview that they've already recorded new songs for the album.

Is that a definite? Well I mean, come on, if they've been reunited this long, surely some new music should come out of it. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

5 more:
Dre 3000 did promise a long time ago that we can expect some new product from Outkast. Pylon is releasing a new box set. I'm also looking forward to that new project with Mick Jones and Tony James called Carbon/Silicon. The Cure's Faith album is being remastered too. That's my favorite one from their Post-Punk/Goth era. And I heard Imani Coppola's releasing something new. Chinese Democracy? Yeah right. No, Not Kamaal the Abstract(though the bootleg is tidin' me over on that one!)... his new album, Open, is supposed to drop in 2005...I'm just hopin' the same thing doesn't happen to this album, but already the dates keep getting pushed back... ... Do you know something we don't? It's the 8th Anniversary Edition remaster of NewPower Soul, featuring a second disc with 8 previously unreleased remixes of "Freaks on this Side" and a liner notes essay by Tina Graham about the various kinds of towels used during the making of NPS. I know this is technically a New Power Generation release, but Prince figured it would be more confusing if he rereleased it under the glyph name.

I'm hearing about a number of releases (some via this thread) that have me excited:
Tony Toni Tone Q-Tip (I've been waiting for the release of Open) Alana Davis (Both of her albums are incredible) Cree Summer (I loved Street Faerie) Stevie Wonder OutKast Res (How I Do had some serious tracks on it) Nikka Costa Maxwell

Do you know something we don't? nah, I don't know anything more than anyone else on the org, but I have this strange feeling that he'll release a "lost" album on the npgmc in 2005. Something like "Madrid 2 Chicago" or such. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
