Apparently, when Vince Neil got married this past weekend in Las Vegas, in attendance were Nikki Sixx and....you guessed it, Tommy Lee! Now, if these two were really at each other's throats, why would Tommy be invited to the wedding? Why would he even show up? Makes no sense.
Something tells me that these two have made-up, but are playing up their old rivalry to sell more CDs (and concert tickets). After The Dirt was so successful, primarily due to all the stories of strife in the band, it wouldn't surprise me if they were just putting on a show to keep the cash flowing in. Tommy's image as the "troublemaker" is good for, at the very least, capturing headlines. It also seems like a good marketing ploy from the viewpoint that fans might be more inclined to shell out money for the tickets if they think that the reunion could fall apart at any minute. "Better see them now, because it might be your last chance!!!" I read that too about his wedding and was even more confused by the whole TOmmy/VInce thing but now that you mention it, you could be right...total publicity stunt....or maybe.....TOmmy wanted an excuse to get on one of Vince's wife's friends...aren't they porn stars? Now, that's a possibility! Of course, if they really detested each other, I think Vince would have made sure that security kept him out (or, maybe, he just set Tommy up with a chick who has a raging case of crabs)! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

NOw I"m even more confused...oh well this is better news than the first post of this thread. CRUE!!!!!
Tommy Lee Looking Forward to Crue Tour NEW YORK - Tommy Lee (news) says he's looking forward to going on tour with Motley Crue — so he can get some rest. The 42-year-old drummer, who recently reunited with his band mates for a world tour, says he's been working on so many television and music projects that he needs a break. "There's no Tommy time anymore. I gotta go on tour to get a vacation," he told The Associated Press. "I'm looking forward to a little boredom." Lee has been pulling double duty, rehearsing for the tour to support the band's CD "Red, White & Crue" as well as finishing his solo album. He recently wrapped filming at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the NBC reality show "Tommy Lee Goes to College," which will air this summer. On tour, Lee says he's "basically living for those two hours a night to go out and rock." Motley Crue's tours were notorious for their party atmosphere. "That's why I bring my music studio on the road with me — to keep Tommy out of trouble," he said. The tour opens Feb. 14 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with shows scheduled through mid-June, according to Lee's Web site. Stops on the tour include New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Oslo, Norway, and London. Let the rain come down...17 days....

Tommy was on an Australian show 2 nights ago talking about the new tour and everything he seemed real happy about it and very friendly positive...I wouldn't believe what you read. This was straight from the horses mouth so to speak.

Nah, Motley Crue were a lot of fun and made some good records. Both Shout at the Devil and Theater of Pain are classic pop metal records. I agree. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

'Girls, girls, girls', is my favourite crue album. Tommy Lee is an AWESOME drummer.
He adds, "One thing I don't miss about Motley Crue is seeing Vince's bloated, disrespectful a** every day."
ROTFLMAO!!!!! | |
