Yes, saying one line was "forcing" her crowd to get excited, geez get real.
The fact that you didn't understand her motives properly was what i got ticked about, and now me and GrayKing cleared it up and you still have crap to complain about.
Always have to be negative dontcha? Give it a rest

pot meet kettle...

and no, im describing my observation of the event..you werent there at this concert yet your trying to "force" your interpretation on me..its rather silly....

is it possible that she was annoyed that this happened at the vegas show and she continued it for the rest of the concert cause she thought it was amusing? sure...what i find interesting and telling is that your "ticked" about my perspective...are you madge's mother or something?

nutty

i have the audio to opening night in LA and they get up off your seats thing during like a prayer started there.

plus she said the same thing during LAP on the BAT.

i need to chill? lol

i share my experience and you get bent yet im the one that needs to chill....

look it mr. mom, ive been to plenty of concerts..i can gauge an audience's mood pretty good.....this happened towards the beggining of the show...the audience did not go crazy (like they did at your show) after she made the comment..they obliged by politely standing...that was it..end of story....thats was that audience's collective experience....

now i know this doesnt fit within your tidy perfect-madge-world but thats what happened.....

and im not a madonna basher..if you scroll up, i said i liked the pics...i will say when i like something of madonna's....why else would i have gone to her concert if i dont enjoy her..she is a great entertainer.....nothing more, nothing less.....

take off the rose tinted glassed and realize not everyone has to admire everything madonna does (or any other artist for that matter) 100% of the time..

biggrin

Donatella certainly isn't as good a designer as Gianni was.

Wow. That sounded so gay.

Versace is very overrated, they do a nice suit but overall
i find their use of the 'baroque' & 'gold' very tacky.

She looks ok in the first picture ,but they are airbrushed biggrin .The funniest thing i read here was she never had her boobs done or had a face lift ..thats funny she is thin with those big muscle arms so she works out a lot as everyone knows ! (she even did a yoga work out in her concerts) but yet at 46 and after 2 kids her boobs havn't changed since her 20's !!! she also had a mini facelift or botox ..but she is 46 and she needs help with nature if i had her money i would do the same ..but i loved her look in the early 80's wink yes wave star :stickpoke:Also i heard Madonna had a tummy tuck after having her son ,in older pictures her belly button is in and in newer pics like the horrible one in the Kylie thread ,from the film Swept Away (what is up with her eyes in that pic too) her belly button is an outie !! just compare an 80's pic to a recent pic you will see ,she has had work done but its done well and prob done by the best plastic surgeon there is .Just look how bad she looked in Swept Away to now ,but she has had a boob job theres no way her boobs would stay big and firm the ways she works out and she is nearly 50 ,they seem even bigger in recent pictures nod prince

I mean no offense when I say this, but when it comes to Madonna concerts,Vegas audiences are usually the worst.I heard that Madonna hates playing there because the crowds are usually so unresponsive. She had similiar problems with her 'Drownwed World Tour' Vegas dates,if I'm not mistaken.I don't think Madonna was being mean or bitchy, she just didn't wanna look into the audience and see a bunch of tired, old deadbeats that aren't enjoying themselves. Her attitude is "If you come to my shows, you better party!".

she admits to botox but has no face lift... that isn't part of the Madonna Mantra... she wants to defeat ageism... she has been talking about that since the Girlie Show... she was like what am i supposed to do at 40 crawl in a box

She shouldn't be complaining if ppl want to sit down at the concerts. If anything, it should be a wake up call to step up her game. It's not the viewer's fault that her show was weak. I saw the Drowned World Tour and I was not impressed, it was a complete bore fest with a highlight every now & then. There was no way in hell I'd spend $300 for a concert ticket after hearing the Re-Invention tour was dull as well.

@jayardee, I didn't insult Madonna's baby pictures...I just said the mole was an ugly baby too. Don't stereotype me just because I just so happen to like Janet. I didn't care for Madonna much before I liked Janet & still don't. But, Ms. Jackson was a very cute baby, if I don't say so myself....

Yes Janet is a cute baby. And some babies are born with moles, but there are no ugly babies, only ugly people who have to point out every imperfection.

I went to three shows on the 'Re-Invention Tour' and I can tell you that it was anything but "dull".I know this is all a matter of personal opinion, but I just can't imagine anyone being bored at a Madonna concert. She pulls out all the stops! It's like, what more do you want? You can't complain about the setlist, because she played some of her biggest hits ("Like A Prayer","Papa Don't Preach",even "Material Girl" and "Burning Up"!!).You can't complain that she ignored her latest album, because she included SEVEN songs from 'American Life'.Everything else (the amazing video footage, the choreography, costumes, set design, etc) was top-notch as well. You could call it extreme, gaudy, outlandish or even bizarre, but the term "boring" really doesn't apply here at all.If someone sits down, rolls their eyes and acts like they're bored, then perhaps this just isn't their cup of tea? I don't see why they came to the concert in the first place.

Exactly, why bother even going to a concert if you don't plan on having fun?

But apparently all the stuff you mentioned wasn't exciting enough for Scorpion and she should step up her act to Britney and Usher's perfect model

Exactly.

I'm a Madonna and Janet fan and honestly, Janet will never be able to top the Re-Invention Tour. Janet's tours are AMAZING but she does too much of the same thing through the entire show and lip synches too much. Madonna's shows have variety and she sings live, even when she sounds bad. She sounded incredible on this tour though. Madonna is the best.

I agree, Madonna looks hot in these pics. I am so into a fake "Hollywood" blond thing right now, so first time I saw them, I was in heaven! I like her London "natural" thing of course but this is what Madonna is all about! Glamour, bring it on! I totally want that awesome, gold, tight dress she's got on. Course, I wish I had a figure like hers! Damn! I was in the front row for opening night in Los Angeles and she has a body to die for, so don't let a few bad angle shots let you think otherwise. I am 32, and would die for that body, and thought that for several years!

Um, but on the Prince note - I just reviewed the Seattle concert on my site, here's the link if you want to see it!

I love that handbag! The clothes don't look worth the hefty price tag they will carry. I've seen better stuff at Target. I wonder how much these "outfits" are going to go for since they booked Madonna for the shoot. Donatella has to make back that oversized paycheck she handed to Madonna for modeling in these pics.

Why should she, with her tremendous successful tour and fame i see no reason.

You can say the dame with Prince who can't get over that he is more holier than thou attitude towards the younger generation of pop stars.

Yeah him too. Even though both had successful tours, their ability to not be able to get over themselves might continue to hinder their art. Madonna with her Kabbalah nonsense (Madonna isn't a material girl, she's THE material girl), and Prince with his real music by real musicians shtick (How about a real album).
