Well just like KYLIE and JLO, Britney and countless others MARIAH has joined the group of Celebs putting out CLOTHING/LINES. This MARIAH Lingerie Line will be called KISSKISS and will debut in the SPRING/SUMMER 2005. To kick it off will be ADS for Hosiery, ALA Tina Turner, MARIAH known for those LEGS, will be doing ads in early Spring for her own designs of Hosiery. She will also Grace the cover of Februarys issue of BLENDER with a HOT photoshoot and her new CD THE EMANCIPATION OF MIMI hits the Stores March 22nd.

Unless the photoshoot is subtitled "The Emancipation Of Mimi's Twins", count me out.

How can somebody that don't wear no drawers do a lingerie line? And really...The Emancipation of Mimi. I can't get past that title.

I do agree to an extent, I feel MARIAHS last few CD's have suffered from the RB/HIP HOP production which ruined RB. And the new CD promises more of that, producers like the Neptunes, Nelly, R KELLY and JD are exaclty what Mariah and RB or anyone with talent or a voice needs. THese Producers should stick to Producing JLO and BRINTEY. But to Defend Mariah a little bit, how come BEYONCE can dress the same way (and u know that girl is always in almost nothing) but nothing is said, and dont say its because Mariah is less talented or lacks Talent. Mariah Lacks direction, that would be it. I dont MARIAH going a DIVA direction, or having a lingerie line, just stop the typical CDS, nothing new, nothing impressive. Even though I love MARIAH she has never done a CD where I have said WOW, so much Potiential, but just never fully applies it.

I know Mariah always says that she was "trying to be something she wasn't, Tommy forced me to" blah blah blah, but she always looked more comfortable and natural with clothes on. I LOVE Mariah!!! I am even a big fan of Glitter as most of u despise it (understandably, but there are some HOTT jams on that CD).
I am hoping and wishing that she shows maturity on this album. It's sad that she is 30 something years old, and her old albums sound more adult and mature and have more class than they do 2day. It's like her albums are backwards. Mariah was supposed 2 b on "Visions Of Love" and "I Dont Wanna Cry" today. "Heartbreaker" "Loverboy" and "Honey" sound like they would be the beginning stages of Mariah. Although, she does peek out and bring out sum good adult jams today l;ike "Subtle Invitation" "Want You" "All My Life" "Yours" "Bliss", but these are not singles. The record companies go right to the R&B songs with rappers in them and ruin it's chances. Then again she had too much of that on her last album also, so she kinda destroys that her self also.

One day, MC will come back and brace us with a non rapper alsum..one day...

the emancipation of mimi? sounds like the title of a bad hentai film...and i thought the name for her lingerie line would be somethin like gumball or cottoncandybubblepuss or somethin around that theme.
