I love both albums, but I personally haven't seen any one of the concerts. I heard that the Rhythm Nation concert was seen worldwide (over a million of people saw it on TV). I just wish Virgin or A&M Records could put them on DVD like the other 2 concerts-- The Velvet Rope (My favorite) and All For You.

RN would get my vote, but that could just be for better footage of her dancer Terry Bixler drool

I'd like for them both to be released on DVD. The Rhythm Nation 1814 World Tour, most especially, since it's her first and I'd love to see the contrast from Janet then to now. Plus, it's the highest grossing debut tour of all-time for any solo artist.

I need to write JDJ Entertainment a letter one day.

Both. I saw the janet. tour when I was 8 years old, and it was a night I'll never forget. That show was amazing, and I'd love to relive it. And I'd LOVE to see the Rhythm Nation tour! I remember reading a while ago, though, it may have been in one of the Miss Janet magazines but I'm not sure, that they won't release the janet. tour on DVD because they don't have a "quality copy" of it.

They sell bootlegs of the RN tour constantly on eBay. Haven't seen one of the janet. tour pop up yet.

I saw several in the last few years, but many were "home camcorder" quality.

It weirds me out that Janet doesn't have "quality" copies of her first two tours, ESPECIALLY "janet." since that was during her commercial peak and she was the darling of the new Virgin in 1993-94. Someone really dropped the ball in that department.

The Japanense show i have was offically released on broadcast in Japan.

Just like the video i have of the Blonde Ambiton tour.

Granted if you have seen TVR or A4U tour we've more or less seen the other two

Yeah, the official laserdiscs are hard to come by, though. Same for the BA tour. Why the HELL won't they release the MJ, Madonna and Janet classics?

I saw the Janet tour on New Year's Eve 1993 in NYC. The show was timed so that the final song "Because Of Love" would start at exactly midnight. A million balloons fell from the ceiling of Madison Square Garden after the countdown. Best New Year's Eve ever.

So the Janet tour is my choice.

That sounds beautiful. Wow.

Could you spot yourself in the "Because of Love" video?

Naw, I had to get tickets for a lot of friends so we sat in the upper level--too difficult finding that big of an empty block on the floor. I think the balloons were still falling halfway through her performance of "Because Of Love". Or maybe that was just the dancers throwing them around. It's getting hard to remember that far back.
