What is your brain playing for you? Sorta like "what are you listening to?" thread, except you're not actually listening to the song, your brain is playing the song.
My brain tends to remix songs (remember Justin Timberlake vs. MJ?) alot the time. Currently it is playing Gwen Stefani "What You Waiting For" with the beat from "It's Like That" and it sounds like this. So, what is your brain playing for you? It might be a jingle, or a Christmas carol.. whatever it might be, post here. edit [Edited 12/27/04 15:56pm]

I finally shook off Gwen's "Danger Zone" the other day. But ever since I read AsianBomb's "Britney's GH" thread, my stream of consciousness has been stuck on "I've Just Begun (Having My Fun)." Earlier this morning, it was Nina Sky's "You Deserve (feat. Betty Wright)."

I JUST played that Nina Sky track yesterday. I really like that song. Do you have the album, by chance? It has a lot of classic-sounding cuts on it -- my faves being the aforementioned, "Surely Missed," "Your Time," "Runaway" and "Faded Memories." It's a great writing-in-your-diary-by-the-stereo album.

This is a legitimate question for me. I almost always have a song running in my head, whether it's something I know or something I'm making up. I actually ask my friends and brother this all the time.
Right now I've got "Thursday's Child" by Bowie.

Yes I have the album. It's great for all the resons you mentioned, plus the fact that they harmonize in a way that only siblings can.

I thought I would be over Christmas music by now, but I've had "(It's Gonna Be A) Punk Rock Christmas" by The Ravers in my head the whole day. I'll have to pull out that 'Punk Rock Xmas' CD one last time tonight.

To be honest, most of the time what I put in the "what are you listening to?" categories is what's actually running through my head, not my player. lol
We Are The World. I know, I know. It's just stuck there and won't go the hell away. More specifically, it's the Bruce Springsteen part where he's singin' like he's constipated.

Cant get it out my head all damn day! I know! That album has an effect on my psyche, it's like once the songs go off they just stick in your brain (sometimes you want to scream because it's so incessant). I'm still waking up in the morning with "Danger Zone" playing in my brain. Today, though, my brain has been playing a cross between Nelly's "Get Your Eagle On" (or whatever it's called) over the beat of Rebbie Jackson's "Centipede."
