Info on Rod Stewart? I've had a comp of his for while and picked up a cheap copy of "foot loose and fancy free" about a year ago and forgot all about him. I just listened the comp again and realized how much I like some of stuff. I'm wondering does he have much else that's good? I like his folky stuff like "maggie May" and "You Wear it Well", his ballads stuff like Sailing, Reason to Believe, I don't wanna talk about it and I was only joking, plusthe song he did with python Lee Jackson (In a Broken Dream) is awesome.
What's his good folk, rock, blues and r n' b stuff?

I have the "Footloose and Fancy Free" album also. My favorite cut from that album is "You're Insane" which is rock with a funky edge so that shows what type of Rod Stewart I like.
I'm not into the folk or blues sounding Rod. My favorite Rod Stewart years are from from around 1977 to 1984 which covers hard rock, disco, pop, and funk. I've heard a more blues, folk, and R&B sounding Rod after 1984 but I like my R&B much harder and funky so it was not my cup of tea. If you like remakes like "People Get Ready, There's A Train A'Comin" and "Downtown Train" you might like the late 1980s/1990s Rod. I think Rod had some stuff you might like in the early 1970s also. Get the soulful Atlantic crossing from '76 I think,
with Booker T & the MG's playing. His best song ever in my opinion is on there, "I don't want to talk about it". /peace Manki

I have to admit, I'm a bit of a fan. I even saw him once at the Minnesota State Fair. Very cute. Good songs too.
