Mariah Carey - "Wisegirls" Movie

She has taken her bumps for Glitter, but Mariah did an excellent job for the movie "wisegirls". It was a straight to video movie. Did anybody see it?? If you did, what did you think?? For those who didn't and have cable tv. it's on Cinemax.

I shut it off about 30 minutes in. Really bad flick. Mariah didn't offend me in it, though.

Was it a bad film? From what I saw it was a fair film. Mariah was good in it.

If it was even a tiny bit good, why did it go straight to video?
'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance... well, they're no friends of mine.

I think this movie is a redemption for "Glitter" IMHO!

See the flick, you won't be sorry.

Things happen. They probably got dropped by the distributor. It was actually made before "Glitter". After "Glitter" I suspect all bets were off. But it's a shame because Mariah held her own up against Mira Sorvino and the girl who played the undercover cop.

It was supposed to get a theatrical distribution, but the producers of the film couldn't find a distributer. Word of mouth when the film premiered at Sundanace that year was that it was an okay film. Still, nobody wanted it, because of the bad press Pariah Scary got around Glitter.

I wanna see the behind-the-scenes footage where Mariah and Mira Sorvino were throwing salt shakers at each other. Rumor was they did not get along at all. Supposedly Mira was tired of Mariah's antics and called her on it, then was greeted with a flying salt shaker courtesy of Ms. Glitter.

Yeah I remember that rumor, funny thing is she dismissed it in some radio interview and then said "If I'm mad at her, I would throw something else bigger than a salt shaker." shrug evillol
