Jean Grae This Week 
Jean Has got to be the illest Female MC out right now...rather one of the nicest MC's period...not your average She-Rapper,Designer label whore dick suckin,ghost written lyric spitten chick...Jean is nice Gives the fellas a run for their $$$$ her new set was released in mid October titled "This Week" has anyone peeped it out??? stand out track are "A-alikes","Not like me","Don't rush me",and "P.S." a deep confessional... ooops wrong forum I know...My bad!!!!! She is cool. I think the song that she did with Kweli is the bomb. I heard on Music Choice and I was like whoa. I definitely going to have to check out the rest of her material to get a full picture of her skills. | |

she has 3 releases "The attack of the attacking things" , "The bootleg of the bootlegs"(my personal favorite....the hidden track at the end of all of her mixtape cameos...is off the meter), and her new release "This Week"...she did a take on Junior Mafias "Playas Anthem" her's of course "Hater's Anthem" she brings the heat!!!!...if you like thoughtfulness you will not be dissapointed,some of the beats are lack luster...however she dosent exactly have Lil Kim or Trina's budget either....Girl is NICE!!!!! Miguel Jacki is nice....she can't fuck with Jean...but I actually like her album...Trina makes nice club bangers,but lyrically she's very mediocre...I long for the Kim & Foxy of 96...I doubt they will ever match their previous work...overall I am pretty supportive of female MC's...those were all my Divas as opposed to the Madonnas/Whitneys/Janets...I just have a thing for the underdog chicks who are far more complex,but never get to shine because they aren't parading around half naked...Like Jean Grae,Bahamadia,Lady of Rage,Heather B.,Apani,Medusa...etc...
