He's one of a kind, that's for sure. I do think he's been tremendously influential, even if I can't really sit through a whole CD. He has a vulnerability that makes a really interesting flipside to his hardness. Unfortuatnely, I don't think he's really dug deep enough inside himself to fully harness that uniqueness yet. Though, that said, I'll probably be buying Doggy's greatest hits at some point!

And yet no one acknowledges his love for his son by coaching his football team. I'm not surprised.

"Drop It Like Its Hot" is pure generic garbage, I couldn't understand how people good find that good music,
tho' I battled blind
love is a fate resigned
memories mar my mind
love it is a fate resigned

Over futile odds
and laughed at by the Gods
and now the final frame
Love is a losing game

I dig Drop it Like its Hot. I hear it and its stuck in my head for ever. Talk about a hook....Geesh!

You cant front. "Drop it Like Its Hot" has to be the most SIMPLE, syncopated, bob your head song you have ever heard. Snoop is usually pretty consistent. Some of you may hate on him, but the song is wonderful. the new one is not bad either...he only released HORRIBLE albums when he signed with (ick) MASTER P. But his flow is SICK, even if his lyrics are sub-par. Go Head, SNOOOOOP.
Tsk Tsk, What a pity...sometimes Life can be so shitty....

Nope. Sorry. A father's supposed to take an interest in his children. It's his job.

What does his (inconsumable) private life have to do with the nature of his (consumable) public products?

It's not surprising that rappers love 70s soul music. That's where they get most of their samples from lol
