The Neptunes "She Wants To Move"? My God...that song is such a club banger! For everytype of club...well, obviously not for hard rock ones...but still! How come they can make hits for others but not themselves?? That song is ridiculously hot!! dancing jig

Cuz it aint all that. its cool, but not nothing too exciting that I have to dance or go crazy about.
It was a dissapointing album also, though there were some exceptional trax...my favorite being "The Way She Dances"
Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

It wasn't a real hit in Belgium, but it did get a lot of airplay on Studio Brussel, an alternative radiostation. I heard it quite a lot, and I'm lovin' it. Great song, I just have to dance when I hear it. smile

I don't know why this song was unnoticed...I love it. But, sometimes you have to take things into your own hands. I always carry my I POD out to clubs with me so when the dj starts to suck I can dance to my own tunes. And She likes to move is definitely on my play list.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Ooh, that's a new way to do it. When I was living in NYC over the summer I'd listen to my iPod before and after I come from the club because I didn't have a car and I'd get impatient waiting for the A and D trains a lot of times.

I did not care to much for the radio edit. However, the remixes for the song were off the hook b/c it had Basement Jaxx, Tribe Called Qwest, Jungle Brothers, Common, and De La Soul on it.

I dont really think Pharrel needs to be able to sing well. James Brown cant sing either and didnt have the most brilliant lyrics but we understand where hes going. I tink the same can be said of N.E.R.D. tracks. smile

I hope you are not comparing James Brown to Pharrel. I can tolerate James 's voice. I cannot tollerate Pharrel's or his dumb ass lyrics.

Yes. I was comparing them by making that particular comparison, and quite appropriately, I might add.
