The Ronettes vs. The Shangri-Las some may re-phrase that as Phil spector vs. Shadow Morton...
but anyway, imo the greatest two girl groups ever, and I couldn't say who is better. The Shangri-Las' music had more of an edge but The Ronettes always put me in a good mood. Anyone have any cool pics of the Shangri-Las? | |

I vote Ronettes - their music was less gimmicky, although I do think that Remember (Walkin' In The Sand) is a dark and gorgeous classic. I also think the Ronettes had much better voices.
