Jeff Buckley's "Everybody Here Wants You"

This is one of the most beautiful ballads I've ever heard. Over the last 20 years, few ballads have had the potency of a Prince slow jam, but this stacks up against most of P's slow jams with the exception of "Adore."

I only heard for the first time this year, and it's playing on iTunes right now, so I wanted to give it the props it deserves.

I've always loved that tune!! I just wish he wasn't gone...It makes me sad when I hear it, it's like a glimpse of one of the many directions his music would've taken...

Wasn't this song inspired by Marvin Gaye?
U should hear the version done by UK Multi-talent Lewis Taylor.
He does it some SERIOUS justice. nod

Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!

I love love love Jeff Buckley. I only knew a few of his songs but recently I got a copy of 2 of his albums and I think he is even more brilliant than I thought before.

This was my theme with this girl I had been totally in love with for awhile. One of the best tunes J.B. ever wrote!
