I have a 15 gb ipod and I have about a couple thousand songs on it with room to spare.
Bitrate means how big the file will be. A cd quality song will take 30-40 megabytes, but itunes compresses the files to about 3-4 megabytes. I have both compressed & uncompressed because I make my own music and don't compress the files when I put them into itunes. So I can fit less songs than someone who compresses all their stuff. 20 gb is 20000 mb, right? [Edited 12/22/04 14:44pm] Check this song out at:

20GB=5000 songs at a decent bitrate
