Bright Eyes Anyone? Anyone?
I've been hearing about and reading about this band for a while but just recently bought their latest, "Lifted: or The Story is in the Soil, Keep your Ear to the Ground" and eh meh GEH, I haven't listened to much else in the last 6 weeks or so. Well that's not true, but it's been my primary music without doubt. "They" (it's kind of a one-man-band thing in terms of the lyricist/songwriter/singer, but there are many musicians playing on different tracks) are releasing 2 new albums in March I think....I got the 2 singles last week and of course I LOOOOOVE everything on there. EVERYTHING. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Did I mention I like Bright Eyes a lot? Anyhoo, just bought tix to see 'em in a real nice, small venue at the art institute at the University 1/19/05 and I AM FOAMING AT THE FUCKING MOUTH ALREADY in antici.....pation. Plus, he's oh-so dreamy, which I didn't realize until today, b/c there are no pictures of him on the album:
