John Legend is about to drop his debut "Get Lifted" in 7 days (Dec. 28th). Doesnt everyone just love this guy!? Ever since "Ordinary People" hit the radio, I have been jonzin' for this dude's cd. Hes got a video called "Used to Love You" that is in heavy rotation on many of the video channels. Since DAngelo, Bilal, and Maxwell have taken long breaks, its so nice to quinch my thirst for authentic soul music with this brother from Chicago. You all have got to get this cd. Its going to be fire! What do you all think of JOHN LEGEND?

Truth be told, the coolest part about the song was the sampled drum kit, which gave it some energy.

well i do like the "used to love you" song and the video. I love the piano and the drum track on the song. He is quite talented. I don't think people are giving him enough credit, or maybe he hasn't proven himself yet. But i do know when his album drops on the 28th, i'll be there to get it...
