For the rest I am with GrayKing (not the TWAT-part) but the Sixtine Chappel part. Somewhere I read that someone called the USofA a young nation. I would like to tell that nation to grow up. You have a lot of strong feelings and harsh things to say about America considering 1) you've never been here, and 2) you have a lot of American friends. haha.....and there you have it.....the uptightness! I live in the Netherlands and I have a lot of harsh things to say about my country, doesn't mean I don't like it. Americans shouldn't be so touchy about their identity. I bash a lot of countries, including my own (No. 1), doesn't mean I don't like them. It's fun to say that the Germans don't have humour, still I love it and have friends there (lived there for several years), english people are soap-dodgers but have a great sense of humour, dutch people say that belgian people are dumb.....they are really not, just their accent (lived their as well).....Americans....well I guess they are an easy prey. Lived there as well and still come there a lot and like to come there....the dutch (including myself)? we are greedy loudmouths.....but we once had conguered half of the world! and yes, I have a lot of good friends in the States.....not all americans are uptight (thank God) and we can laugh....it's all about laughing! It's just that Gooey has had a lot of choice words in the last few years about America. I've seen all of the complaining, but very little of the reasoning behind it. Sometimes I just wonder what the point is and where the perceptions come from.

America is a fine country, I always love to come there (and always love to leave as well! ). I don't think about politics when I'm there and americans are fine people.....they're just different....which is totally cool, and admit it: you're easy to make fun of, and so am I (or we)...in certain respects! next trip to the US: March! Wow. From Robbie to US bashing.
I am all for it, of course. Americans are just too stupid. I must radiate all my hatred here or burst. Even my American friends are twats, basically. Aren't you all fat and dumb and all about outer beauty and all? Jeez! I must have watched too much tv and eaten too much junk food! I do not have to go to the States, the States are all over the place. It's the Kentucky Fried Chickens, the McDonalds, Dynasty and Buffy. It's very weird that people not ever been to the US have an opinion on the country! How could they? I mean, the US has been really comfy and cozy and have not been on the world political platform at all, for like, well way before WWI, right? I mean, having served on an American airbase for a few years makes me real out of touch. Or working at an American book store. Or volunteering at Democrats Abroad. And signing up American voters here. Doesn't count. I would hate to step on American soil. I even requested KLM to fly the other way on my way to Mexico. Actually, screw all the AMericans coming over to the Amsterdam Org. They can find their own place to sleep, Muse and Carrie will have to find hotels, I only want non-Americans. I did not only miss the point, I missed the plot. lala-europeanscanttyppeedit [Edited 12/23/04 13:43pm]

Hey, hey... don't disrespect the Buff! Oh no, he did not just put Buffy The Vampire Slayer in the same category as trashy Dynasty and KFC. That's like equating Prince with Usher.

His music is good, but has limited appeal. I just haven't heard anything new from him that sounds much different from when he first went solo. He's gorgeous and he has a lot of fun with his image, that's for sure.
