Is he even a one hit wonder here? I don't think so. He keeps trying with singles here but nothing has stuck that I've noticed.

I see what you mean.....over here in Europe, we wonder the same about: Jessica Simpson Hanson (back then) Usher Ashlee simpson Good Charlotte and a lot more of them 'artists' About Robbie: I don't care for his music, nor his ass (I'm still straight, ya know...). I do have to admit he is a performer, a showman. I actually enjoy his cockie attitude in interviews. He's like Oasis' Gallagher-brothers, only with a little more brains!

I only know his music - never seen him interviewed - and the music I've heard doesn't grab me. Too english music hall type stuff.

Everything about him bores me - his look, his songs, his personality.
But I did like the song and video he did with Faithless a few years back.

anyhow, one-hit wonder in the States or not, the kid is a big star in Europe (which is more than just one country!), selling millions of records.....too many to disregard. And really, since when is hitting it big in the States a must?
Also, I rather see kids digging the music by Robbie Williams than fabricated Eurotrash or American R&B-dhiarrea (sp.?).....he writes his own songs.... On Take That: Williams made the right move and caused Take That to break up. Everybody ('even' Madonna) thought that frontman Gary Barlow was the only talent of that group but his solo career crashed hard. Why? Because Robbie beat him in being the first (while Take That still thought they could do without him), and everybody prefers a bad-boy (Robbie) over a nice-guy (Gary), and.....Robbie had Guy Chambers.....

That's not really true, he would have loved to break through in the US, but he is not pretentious about it (anymore). Now he's living in L.A. and he's happy he can walk the streets without being recognized...
