Don't know Thicke myself. The rest are all pretty popular, but not household names.

well, not as well known as the "pop" or "rap" artists, but still pretty well known... especially among those who have an "appreciation" for music

Erykah Badu:

Bag Lady - #6 pop, #1 R&B
On & On - #12 pop, #1 R&B
Love Of My Life (An Ode To Hip Hop) - #9 pop, #1 R&B

Jill Scott:

highest peak was #43 pop with A Long Walk

D'Angelo

Brown Sugar - #27 pop, #5 R&B
Lady - #10 pop, #2 R&B
Untitled (How Does It Feel) - #25 pop, #2 R&B

These are not singles artists, however, so I don't know how you can expect a huge list of hits from them.

I believe he is the son of Alan Thicke
I am not African. Africa is in me, but I cannot return.
I am not taína. Taíno is in me, but there is no way back.
I am not european. Europe lives in me, but I have no home there.
I am new. History made me. My first language was spanglish.
And I am

..yeah these artists are kinda/sorta popular...but all i know Erykah Badu is a great soul/r&b artist and she is the shit! smile I love her album Baduism, and alot of her songs like Bag Lady, On and On, Love of my Life, kiss me on my neck, and etc.... Jill Scott's pretty cool (to me), as 4 D and Thicke- i don't really no much about them except 4 i know that Dangelo is sexy..!! lol

THICKE - A BEAUTIFUL WORLD, this was the single most under rated album this decade! It was neo soul meets Michael Jackson at a Beatles concerts, sort of sound? and his hot too!
