who is that lady? What kind of music does she sing?....I keep seeing her album cover posted as jokes.

Probably over a year ago (or was it last summer...I'm not even sure), members of the Org posted one of those sites with the worst album covers ever, and Joyce appeared on more than one list. She's kind of an internet cult figure. At one point, several orgers (including myself) became obessed with this Tootsie like woman. There used to be like five active threads at a time talking about "Joyce", the album, the woman, the myth, the legend! What was this album like (not sure, but I think JanFan might have had a sample of some songs)? When did it come out (1983)? So we found a guy that had a site and actually owned many of these records and he gave us a few details on the album (he insistited on coming here and posting the information himself!). I remember it was a Chirstain pop album on the FTD (the same as the flower company?) label from 1983. I remember one song title was "I Get Excited" or something like that. Anyway, it seemed like once the mystery was revealed, everyone just kind of got over it. It was only recently when someone brought up "The Sexiest Album Cover" I decided to look up the old gal and bring her out again!

A sidenote, that guy that gave us the information sold T-shirts with some of the more popular bad covers. I said along with ohters were interested in buying some of those shirts but I highly doubt that anyone did.

oh, so that explains the whole Joyce legend. I'm glad somebody cleared that up for me.
