Is it just me?

Or is everyone hating on Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child because she would not dress like a half-naked hooch like Beyonce and her sidekick, Kelly? Why is it that Michelle always gets the shorter verses in the songs and in the shortest air time in the videos? (ie. Lose My Breath, Soldier)

No, it's not just you. It's as if she's being faded out. Does anyone remember about 2-3 years ago when DC was on TRL in those red/white/blue outfits and Michelle sang a capella with her gospel crew? I think she sang solo for a bit too and I was really blown away. Her voice now sounds completely different to me. Is my memory being generous or has her voice changed???

Could it be because B is scared of losing her shine by someone is supposedly more Christian than she is? hmmm

Dont get me wrong...I am a DC fan, but I am not to keen on Beyonce. This was ever since her reaction to the whole Janet Jackson Nipplegate incident. She made a statement on how she was offered to do a duet with Janet on her album and she turned it down only because as a "Christian" she did not want to get involved with someone who does immoral things. omg

This the same chick that is in a relationship with someone that has had numerous songs about having numerous females ("Girls, Girls, Girls) and also calling girls out their names (Money, Cash, Hoes). And don't even get me started on his blasphemous name moniker. hrmph

Plus, I distinctly remember her making a comment about how she was "too Christian" to walk around half naked and be overly-sexual in her videos when a reporter asked her how she felt about one of Britney's or Christina's videos. This was before she released her solo album. Well, I got three words for Ms. Knowles: "Baby Boy" video. Oh, yeah, "Christian" girls always roll around, half-naked and moaning, on beds with animal skin covers confused

i think beyonce is such a hipocrite! she says a lot of stuff about being christian and remember that song "nasty" they wrote about girls who need to cover up. she should take her own advice. maybe she feels threatned by Michelle.

I'm so happy someone brought up that moment when Michelle's old gospel group sang a little a capella. It's a classic case in what NOT to do to sell your new record. When they sang they sounded SOOO much better then DC3 that it was almost criminal. I bet Beyonce threw a little fit after the broadcast. It was embarrassing. Michelle and her old group could harmonize so perfectly it was almost scary.

Beyonce's father is the manager of the group and the uncle to the short-haired one(her name escapes me right now) so these two get all the spotlight. This is why the other 2 girls left the group years ago because they were not treated equally. I don't know why they just don't make the group a duo or bring in another relative for a trio rather than stringing poor Michelle along.

Solange was too young at first and now she's pregnant. Otherwise she'd be in the group in one hot minute.

Michelle's no fool. She's riding this gravy train for as long as she can.
