Y'all have to check out this new group called Phoenix

I've been watching these guys get some play on MTV2 and stuff, and I must say that I've been impressed. You got a group of guys from France playing a mix of Po/Rock and Neo-Soul. It's like a mix of Scritti Politti and Maroon 5. The vocalist even reminds me of Michael Franks. I'm not expecting these guys to blow up, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did eventually.

They're not a new group: they 've already released at least 2 cd's. I bought 'United' but I'm not really a fan, though 'Too young' is definitely great.

I hope they can get some airplay in the usa though, at least they're better than some other groups (Maroon 5 boxed)
