EWF w/ Raphael Saddiq? Hey, anyone heard this new EWF song with Mr. Saddiq? I was wakin up last Thursday morning and heard somethin real cool and mellow on the radio. I heard a few vocals: Saddiq, (I could recognize his voice right away) and I heard a coupla "Ohh-ohh-ohh's" and a few moans, familiar utterance. Then a couple of seconds later as it went off, I heard Tom Joyner say that it was EARTH WIND & FIRE!!!! I said HOLY SHIT!!!!! I jumped outta bed and tried to call people about this and see where I could get this. Does anyone have this? Has anyone heard it? I GOTTA hav it!!!!!  They did WHAT??!....

I've heard this song, they did a nice job with it. It's from EWF new album but I don't know when it will be released. EWF seem to be real active these past two years since they released an album just two years ago called The Promise, which was very good IMO. Jeux Sans Frontiers | |

The song is called 'Show Me The Way' and it is the new Earth Wind and Fire single.Raphael Saadiq sings the song with Maurice,and I think he also co-wrote/produced it.It's from the upcoming EW&F CD 'Elevated',which is due in February 2005.There's a cool new EW&F fansite that you should check out... www.ewffans.com They have all the latest news updates and info.In 2005,EW&F is gonna tour with Chicago again!! And there will be a DVD release of this tour. | |

I agree. The Promise was a good CD. I can't wait for another release. Of course, I didn't know this though from the Grammys: Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance

Hey Dancelot...did you know that EW&F recently released yet another concert DVD? It's called "Live At Montreux" and it's a 1997 performance.There are also EIGHT live performances from a 1998 show,as well.

I'm really impressed with the number of live EW&F DVDs that are available.My only hope is that they will someday release a live DVD from one of their 70s tours....maybe the 1975 tour,or the 1978 tour (when they used all the magic tricks and special effects).Fingers crossed. | |
