Billy Corgan and Robert Smith record a cover version of the BeeGee's "To Love Somebody"

How bizarre!

Supposedly they cut this for Corgan's upcoming solo album. More information once I find it.

Especially considering that neither of them can sing very well. I do like them each individually, and I think they're great at what they do. But together...on a song like this one? I dunno. Of course, I'd have to hear it first to give my full feelings on it, but off hand I just think why bother?

It can't be any more bizarre than Oscar De La Hoya (yes, the boxer) recording a version of the Bee Gees' "Run To Me" for his debut album a few years ago.

lol

No one has an original thought these days whatsoever. I will avoid hearing this like the plague.

This reminds me of when I heard that Morrissey and Siouxsie were recording a duet. It sounded like a great idea on paper, but then I actually heard it. barf
