it makes me think of "material girl " - not sound wise or anything - just lyrics and all. not too mention how fabulous the song the is!

i love it. it's a take-off of a "fiddler on the roof" song that's funky and has VERY obvious elements of old skool madonna in it, not to mention it's another song with eve. what's not to love?

Just like every great dance album - I'm over it! You've heard the mad beats, you've danced ur ass off to it, now ur over it, Someone said this album would sound dated in 6 month, try 6 weeks! I loved and thought it was the shit. Dance music really has no shelf life except for Moloko, everything but the girl, and that's because they have substance, really can't get over how shallow and empty this album is lyrically. even Britney had more depth...and that's saying lot!

i've told you a million times not to exaggerate. Yeah, that is pushing it a little. Especially since Britney didn't even write half of her songs. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

I thought Bubble Pop Electric was gonna be the next single? Which I haven't really been keeping up with this kind of thing. I've only been listening to the cd. Rich Girl grew on me too....at first the lyrical content was just too much for me to stomach, but I like the actual music. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Is this the new single? YAY!!! I love this song. Had instant hit written all over it.
Shoo...almost all of the songs could be released as a single. They are all good. I can see Luxurious and Crash as being the next ones. Christian Zombie Vampires

. [Edited 12/14/04 2:53am] It hasn't even been out for 6 weeks. And to call this a dance album...hmm not sure about that...It has a lot of slower more textured tracks on it than a typical dance album. Everything but the girl...dance music...well they have dance remixes. Moloko??? I suppose we just have different ideas of what a dance album is, because the examples you cited aren't necessarily dance groups what-so-ever. Christian Zombie Vampires

i look at gwen's album the same way i look at the scissor sisters' album. it's not gonna change the world, it's not gonna re-invent the wheel, but i'll be damned if i don't think every single track is catchy and hummable. i can shake my butt to it and i rarely if ever hit the "skip" button. sometimes that's enough.

On the mtv.com front page, they have the Rich Girl video as #1. Rich Girl is my favorite song on the CD. My friend and I were listening to it last night in my car and we both cracked up when he told me that it had the music to Fiddler On The Roof. He said the man who did Fiddler's probably rolling in his grave. IMO, it's funky and I can't get it out of my head. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

the only time i hit the skip button is when LUXURIOUS comes on. I always hit the repeat button on SERIOUS. Let the rain come down...17 days....

I'm telling you I revert back to being a 6yr old with a sideways ponytail wearing jellies when I listen to that song...lol you should se me doing my 80's dances in the basement. Thanks for that! I know it's sort of obvious, but you never know if all the good URLs are being cyber-squatted by trojan horse sites. Oddly, it's nowhere to be found on Google.
