Elisa fiorillo

Yes she worked with Prince on her second solo album "iam", but infact her first album "elisa filrillo" is not too bad either.

If u like Madonna type fluff (circa 1988) then u should try and hunt this down as I think this album bombed (tell me if "Iam" wrong)

"more than love"
"forgive me for dreaming"
"you don't know"

Also her more agressive but still dancey followup with the Prince songs is good too ("Iam"-1990)

"loves no fun" (underated Prince track)
"Iam"
"on the way up"
"playgirl"
"ain't right" (this song kicks hard)

Despite the grainy picture. She is fine. Her voice is very good too. Wayyyyy better then Madonna's!

Anyone knew where she went? I liked her voice and vocally was head and shoulders above Paula, Janet, Sheena, Madonna etc.....

Please do, if only for "loves no fun"! The other Prince tracks r very 1990 APaula abdul type thing, so if u or anyone else likes that still, then u should pick it up if u c it biggrin

i used to have "I Am" and then sold it, for some reason. must've gotten put in the "for sale" pile on accident, because i've been trying to hunt it down forever since then, if only just to copy it and sell it to some poor Prince-obsessed sucker for $20 or so. lol

luckily, found a used copy for $1 a few weeks ago. wink
