Whatzupwitu Eddie Murphy and Jacko

Whatzupwitu
(with Eddie Murphy)

Sun is gonna shine
Flowers gonna grow
Clouds'll sprinkle showers
Rivers gonna flow

Man ain't got the power
To kill nothing but himself
Man is a creation
Man is nothing else

Whatzup, whatzup, whatzupwitu
Whatzup, whatzup, whatzupwitu

Always is the mountain
Always is the tree's
Always is the ocean
Always is the sea's

We can't stop this world
'Cause it's not
Our world we can just jack
Each other up

Heavenly been mighty patient
He got your number peeped
Your disease
He knows your falling,
Your falling, your falling,
Man is a creation
Man is nothing else

Whatzup, whatzup, whatzupwitu
Whatzup, whatzup, whatzupwitu

{Repeat and fade out}

That part has a few great line! (the bold bit) Where did Eddie steal that from?
MAny diss the song, but I love the positive hippy vibe ad MJ sounds great on it! Original too.....

I didn't care for this song but there were others on the album that I liked such as "Love's Alright", "I Was A King", and "One".

the song was a piece of shyt. i did kind of like "i was the king" because it was very comical. I got a good laugh off of it like i did with "party all the time".
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Eddie Murphy should never, ever sing again.

That video really didn't help either one of those guys get past the rumours that they were gay. Eddie looked like he wanted to do Jacko the whole time.

Frankly, I didn't see a problem with Eddie doing his thing. Eddie and Micheal are good friends. As for Eddie doing musically projects, I would say that he is ahead of his time and his voice wasn't that bad that he needed to lip sync like all these non talented artist's do now.

I liked this song when it came out. I think I was in the 7th or 8th grade. The video was corny though.

Eddie was sure rockin' that texturizer! And what's up with wife-beater and shades. Guess that was his "look".

Mike looks like a marionette.

Lawd! That was the worst. And I didn't think anything could top Rick James dreadful appearance in "Party All the Time"disbelief I remeber seeing the video's premiere back in 91, and even as a 9 year old who loved everything Jackson, I knew this was garbage. MJ and Eddie floating in the sky, surrounded by dancing angels and animated hearts...They both needed to be hit for that one.
Michael never stopped!

I remember listening to Charlie Murphy (yes, Eddie's brohter than the man who had famous run ins with Rick James and Prince) and he mentioned how this album didn't come out. He was saying that Eddie was really getting into music and was thinking about giving up movies but the movie studios did something to stop him the release of the album. Wish I had the details. What!? Really? You mean it had nothing to do with this song terrible video and repeatitive song? That must have been some album!

I loved "Party All The Time", of course, Rick James produced it though. I hated the silly follow up, "Put Your Mouth On Me". The album, "Love's Alright" showed me that Eddie did have talent on his own as a serious musical artist and I think he could really have been good if he continued working and practicing on his music. I saw in interview once, that Eddie wanted to be a musician before he wanted to be a comedian.

That video was absolutely horrible and rediculous. As for the gay undertones, Eddie was caught with a dragon a few years later. lol

I liked the song because every1 else hated it.

Listen closely.. Prince can be heard screaming uncredited from "Thieves In The Temple"

i like the video too only because it was a rare video and the background was cool.

"party all the time" was alright. The rest of that album was pretty poor. I love "put ur mouth on me", I think no one likes that song now (oe ever), and "'till the moneys gone" "i got it" and the serious and mature "so happy" r all good songs, as is ballad "tonight"!

"I was a king" was ok. If u liked shabba ranks u'd enjoy it. Some good word in there somewhere. I like "one" aswell actually. This album has 4 great songs in a row. "whatzupwitu" "always is love" "don't give up on love" "one". All those songs r very different form eachother too.

"don't give up on love" coulda been a hit on adult comppemporary. Maybe if they released it without giving Eddie's name to radio people would buy it.

I remember when "If I was a King" had its big video premiere after an episode of "In Living Color".

I was very disappointed...Especially when sir Ed calls for Shabba.

Still, the wackest cat I've seen yet is that clown/fake heartthrob on "One on One". He plays Brianna's boyfriend and he's supposed to be a wannabe rock star -at least try to look convincing playing the geetar!!!

But then again, that Fonzie lookalike on "California Dreams" was pretty wack, too...

So was Chachie and Joanie and their band...

Richie, Ralph and Potsie, too...

I liked Leather, though razz
