"We Are the Future" is just a fraction of what music fans are going to be hearing from Dupri in the coming months. He's looking for a new home for his So So Def imprint, and when that gets solidified he plans to put out albums by himself and Da Brat. In the meantime he's executive producing albums by So So Def alumni Bow Wow and Jagged Edge as well as girlfriend Janet Jackson, and he produced four songs for his good friend Mariah Carey. Then there's that Grammy ceremony he'll be attending in February.

She didn't specify. She just said she was writing new material, but she's usually doing that. I suspect she'll wait until at least '06 for a new album. A remix album is probable, because a compilation of her urban mixes was on Virgin's internal schedule for November, then pulled.

Well the new year is almost here n back 2 work it is 4 me. Im getting started on the next album. Im REALLY excited about this 1. Im working w/different people n most importantly w/a new energy stemming from w/n me. I can't wait 2 get started!

Apparently Janet learned nothing fron all the fans that aggreed that the dance pop songs on the album (including "Put Your Hands On" were the strongest). Then again, who knows. It could work. I assume they will all be uptempo songs. Remember that those "So So Def" collections he excutive producded. They were damn good. This could easily be her best or worst album. Good luck, Janet.

He strikes me as a bit of an oppruntist. From what I've read, his new songs are dropping Janet's name a little bit too much. I predict heartbreak and then a really good album. But who knows. I just thought that after hearing "Damia Jo', Janet needs to get away from hip R&B producers and go toward euro dance pop (and always stick with Jimmy and Terry). Then again, working with someone she loves could result in some really good music. We'll have to wait and hear.
