Fav music guest on the Simpsons.......... I gotta say the michael jackson one, it may be an early episode, but I love the way it centres on the special guest star and creates a story around Jacko. Plus it showed Jacko used to have a sense of humour.....

What episode was that? Is it treu that Prince wrote "my name is bart" and even recorded it to be on the simpsons? He musta turned them down, Prince has no sense of humour at times. Except when he pokes fun at himself, but of course most others cannot poke fun at him with his consent.

My favorite was Barry White:

One of my favorites, (although I'm sure nobody knows who he) is Daryl Coley. I believe it was the episode where Homer's the mascot for the Isotopes. But they begin the baseball game with Coley singing the Star Spangled Banner with about 15 minutes worth of melisma.

It's gotta be either the Rock and Roll Camp episode (Stones, Petty, Elvis Costello) or The Who episode.
