Yes, it's wonderful. There are a few instrumentals it could do without, but all the vocal tracks are excellent. The first album of Bowie's renaissance. It seems like a logical successor of "Young Americans" and "Let's Dance".

i'm not crazy about this album - too slick and housey for me (and i mean 'housey' in a clunky top-40 C+C Music Factory kinda way) - though there certainly are some keepers on this album, like the morrissey cover and "jump they say", which is one of my favorite bowie tunes.

i'd say if you can find a copy of this album used for cheep, give it a spin. otherwise, there are many far better bowie albums to go after.

Anxiety: I agree 'Black Tie White Noise' is slick but that's just another of bowie's ever changing moods. The Album is brilliant, one of my favourites (after the classics, of course).
