Anyone else loving the SEAL accoustic BEST OF????

I gotta say...I never considered myself to be much of a Seal fan until this year when I heard his singles in accoustic form. I picked up the Deluxe Best of Edition and can't stop playing the accoustic disc. I has made me an instant fan and I went back to the regular versions and loved them! I realized I knew the words to most of his songs but just never went crazy about them...until now. His accoustic version of 'Love's Divine' is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. 'Kiss From a Rose' and 'Dont'Cry' are also soaring in their simplest form.

Check it out!

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to have to cop this just for the acoustic disc, even though I have everything else by him. He's wonderful thumbs up!

Wow, that sounds really cool. I just looked it up on Amazon and the acoustic version of Bring It On sounds groovy. When an artist can strip down their songs and they still sound full of life, that's the mark of a great songwriter.

I'm having a flashback... He played Crazy on acoustic guitar on Arsenio Hall a looooong time ago.

WONDERFUL!! Just love it! the hits cd is cool but the acoustic cd is worth every penny. So glad I got it. I felt sad when i bought it, the guy at the couter said 'you're the first.' It's amazing and people are missing out.

I'm not sure if it was that Arsenio show, but I saw him do an acoustic duo.
Just he and Gus Isidore (his guitarist at the time) so it had to be quite a long time ago.

It was great. nod

I think you'll be surprised to see just how poorly the Lohan album does, although, unfornately, it will probably sell better than Seal's two disc set. I love both CDs. It's a great buy. His cover of "Lips Like Sugar" is not what I expected but is very good.

Surprise! It's on track to do 200K this week and wind up in the top 5.

And the apocalypse looms... lol

The Seal album...?

That is a surprise but pop has no staying power on the charts (it is hardly on radio). The album will have one good week but won't stay for long. The same happened with Hilary Duff and I'm pretty sure that album sank like a stone.

In looking at Soundscan, Seal has not been doing too shabby. Peaple arent coming out of the woodwork for it but it has sold an average of 22,000 each week since it came out. It will probably continue to sell that way and become the 'sleeper' of the hit's collections. It's really worth buying.

Unfortunately Ms. Duff is at #22.
