They´ve gotta be kidding, right? (MJ-case)

Astonishingly, Fox also claims that in recent days, the prosecution have offered Michael probation if he pleads guilty, in a deal where he would not go to prison but would register as a sex offender and keep away from children. Michael's people had one simple message: "Beat it." In a wonderful quote which could be equally applicable to Sneddon as to Janet Arvizo and her clan, an unidentified source from Michael's side said: "If a paranoid schizophrenic accused you of this, would you accept any deal?"

MJ shoulda said yes (if this is true).....but I think Mike wants to create the biggest trial case in HIStory and he may get it!

Mike loves the publicity, he cannot distinguish the pop star MJ and the normal guy in his mind! He lives pop star 24/7

I don´t know if it´s true. But I don´t agree that he should have accepted. It only shows the desperation of the prosecution. Why the hell would they wanna offer him something like that, if they believed so strongly he´s guilty and after all Sneddon has done to "build" this case.

If I were an eccentric, reclusive megastar with a proclivity to cuddle and coo with pre-pubescent boys on national television, and I openly admitted to unsupervised sleepovers with young boys, and I had previously made a spectacle of myself, angering the judge in the process, I would consider it.

Especially if I knew I would die if I went to prison.

(Not saying that he's a proven pedophile, I am just going by the appearances that he himself voluntarily created in the last 2 years. After all, no DA worth his salt could have watched that documentary featuring questionable conduct on his turf, and NOT gone after MJ. And MJ should have realized that. But he let his ego drive him to a level of stupidity that exceeds even his talent.)

I think they may have offered MJ an easy breezy "way out".I don't think it shows desperation at all. I think that many want to spare him the shame of the spectacle of a trial.

Not only that, but these are the same people that held that Def Comedy Jam press conferance to announce the charges. The same people who made sure that reporters were on hand the minute they entered Neverland for the first search. The same people who made sure to handcuff MJ even though he voluntarily turned himself in. From day one these people have gone out of there way to humiliate MJ. Now they are just scared coz they have no case.

Yeah I know. This woman keeps on time after time after time gets caught lying about her stories. What's it with these 'hidden letters' thing that says she was lying about being in fear of Michael..when in actuality, the letters are nothing of that sort?
Well, it doesnt matter cuz only negativity wins the media's time.

Why can't this whole thing be some bad dream? I'm so tired of hearing about the trial, and it hasn't even begun. I really hope they find MJ innocent -but I'm sick of hearing about it.

I want the entertainer Michael Jackson back. Think of all the stuff he could be doing right now. Even if people say he has lost a step, he is still miles ahead of today's pop stars.

After more than one year of this spectacle I want this trial to happen! The defense is handling this 'case' very professional. The moronic strategy of the prosecution was quite enjoyable for some months but its time to wrap up the pre-show.

Lets sum it up, alrighty? After the has-been King, Mr. Neverland, got a really big bump in his panties during the Bashir story holding hands with Gavin he waited till the thing was broadcasted. The next day, still tired of whacking little Jacko off to the ABC special, he had enough and forced this attractive boy looking at some Minelli porn. He invited the whole family Arvizo to join their party. Unfortunately it was just the brother who was interested. So he left his mother alone doing daily shopping tour. While Gavin was really turned on and Peter Pan heading some bottles the brother went upstairs to get a better look at what was happening. After watching a 69 scene he decided to leave and forget about it.

Some months later he remembered and told his mother, who was still shopping. But the brother forgot about the Neverland surveillance which is a better version of Ronny's Star Wars. Followed by a dozen helicopters the mother tried to hide in other shops, but the enemy of state neverland was tracked down everytime (next time lady... CASH PAYMENT!!!). Then came the evening ours, shops had closed and shopping time was over. They started to run and the helicopters were shooting at them, but only tried to kill her kids, as she stated in court. The Big M was commanding his troops and gave green light for the kidnapping tour to Brazil. Mark G. arranged the trip which was disguised as 'just a trip' with friends like Chris T., George L. and Humpty Dumpty.

Later on the kids were interviewed by several 'official' people but were afraid to get killed by M's soldiers after leaving the interview. They lied.

The whole nation screamed... CONSPIRACY!!! At least after we learned that a porn producer was involved. A guy that makes all conservatives giving their jesus cream to a black woman from their neighborhood once in a while.

Thank the lord, we have Don Sneddon! As clever as he is, he knew there was something wrong after he became aware of the fact a black man has moved into his hood.

Black ladies and white gentlemen... let the games begin!

YOu know guys, I truly don´t understand why people NEED MJ to act normally in order to accept him! He never will be normal, he´s never had the circumstances to be normal and as long as he´s not hurting anyone (cause I believe he´s innocent), I SAY LEAVE THE POOR GUY ALONE!!!! Let him do whatever he needs to keep himself happy!!! I don´t know why we all think that he life is a walk through paradice and he´s just being "stupid" causing himself troubles! ALL world´s major superstars have always been complaining of loneliness and if Michael can escape that by being around kids, I am fine with it. Better than shooting himself or taking drugs. Look at Elvis, Marilyn, Cobain....!! What the hell were their problems that they comitted suicides or had to take drugs. I think that MJ is doing a GREAT job handling fame! Cause I don´t know if Iwould I able to take this much if I were in his shues.

I believe Michael is innocent until proven guilty in spite of his eccentric and downright weird behavior over the years.

However, I would be shocked if this case DIDN'T go to trial. I have read many reports stating that the prosecution's case is coming apart due to the accuser's mother's lack of credibility and ulterior financial motives and the DA’s mishandling of the collection of evidence. That said, the "mother" isn't the one who allegedly has been molested, and regardless of shady search warrants or conflict of interest, the State has a compelling witness, willing to testify against Michael in court . So if the boy sticks by his story, it doesn't really matter whether the mother is a slime ball, money monger nutcase or not. It's the boy's testimony that will make or break this case, and the court will undoubtedly "err" in his favor concerning evidence, etc. Unless something out-of-left-field happens and the boy decides NOT to testify, the case is going to trial. Really, if Michael is indeed guilty, this is probably the state's last shot. It's “make or break” for both sides.

Consequently, the plea-bargain doesn't mean that the prosecution's case is unraveling. The D.A. knew that Michael would not agree to its terms. In a sense it was a power and subsequent public relations move. The State was giving Michael a chance to "save" himself from prison only, while at the same time implying that it has a strong enough case to convict him. Obviously if Michael would have accepted, he would have not only been admitting guilt in this matter but also past accusations. He would be completely destroyed in regard to reputation, career, and fortune: people would be coming out of nowhere, falsely accusing him misconduct, and I bet taking him to civil court for a nice big settlement. Remember, the burden of proof is much lower in civil cases, so Michael would already start in the hole if admitted that he were a molester.
Most importantly, his reputation is already on shaky ground, and accepting these terms would have put the final nail in his coffin. Michael would have not physically been in jail but been confined to a life of seclusion worse than it is now, WITHOUT his family. I don't think Michael would have survived. So HE MUST FIGHT these accusations in court, not for publicity, but for his life. That is Michael's only chance, and he knows it.

I had to come back and add that in a way, trial law is like poker, the difference being that you show your hand but then make the best of the remaining cards you're dealt. It's how each side "uses" the admissible evidence as it pertains to the application of the law ,and how the jury interprets the overall "picture" as it pertains to the judge's instructions that ultimately counts.

He can hang out with children
Sleep in their beds
kiss them, hug them cuddle them
tell them i love you

as long as theirs no fondeling
no "Penetration" sexual or oral
The man has done nothing wrong
so he believes theirs no deal
You can't make a deal with an innocent man
Just a Modern Day J.M Barrie
any child molester who gets caught would've killed for that deal

but i'll tell ya this
if he gets out of this Scott Free
The next album he throws out, Will be a hit

I'm not so sure about that. I took a few law classes in graduate school; in fact, I even thought about going into criminal law, an idea that I'm still contemplating. Yet it wasn't until I actually studied case law that I realized how much I didn't know. Everything seems so clear to us non-professionals, but when one starts really studying the rules of law and their application to facts of past cases, not only does one begin to realize its intricacy but also the complexity of the human psyche. That said, I'm not at all suggesting that Michael is guilty coz my heart wants him to be innocent. And I do absolutely agree with your statements in regard to Michael's relationship with kids. But my mind knows better than to jump to any conclusion one way or another. We will all just have to wait and see.

actually,
By popular vote, the only reason that his image is broken "is because he is an alleged Child molester"
an Aquittal will do alot, it won't completely mend his image
but it will do alot
Especially if his defense can disprove 93, since sneddon is dying to brings that out
If jackson can make a mockery of L.A. law inforcement that will mean alot
and will mend a tarnished image

but it all depends on the evidence he can dig up from now to 93
i believe they're even talking about bringing out an imprisoned Pelicano

so by the system they get released on the street
Repeated offenders get 20 years to life
or the new thing now Called Liquid Castration
now if a child molester was offered a deal, where he doesn't have to do prison time, was still able to see his own children
and possibly medical attension (Pedophilia is infact a DISEASE)
depending on how many offences he has
he will jump at that offer
in terms of this case
the Variable is Jackson is a Famous entertainer
its better to be known as an Alleged Molester than an admitted offender
lots of twist and turns
Jackson, has a reputation
this isn't about jailtime Folks
this is about mending or destroying a public figure
Jacksons, to him, his image is all he has
this case could make or break it

Yes, I agree with your last statements. Michael is nearly in a no-win situation to a certain extent. Even if the case is dropped or if he is found completely innocent, his reputation has been irreparably damaged because there are those in the public and media that will NEVER accept that he could be innocent.

Also, there is a matter of psychology. I mean, IF Michael is guilty( I DON'T THINK HE IS , MAYBE MISUNDERSTOOD BUT NOT GUILTY), the possibility exists that he is denying the truth to himself or maybe in a twisted way doesn't believe his alleged activity is harmful. On the other side of the coin, it is NOT out of the realm of possibility that the DA has a vendetta against MJ, and now is pursuing this charges to protect his own reputation. I mean, there is so much to consider really. There is to much involved in regard to the law AND human nature. That's why I just read the news reports and wait.

i believe they're even talking about bringing out an imprisoned Pelicano

hmm

If Prosecution decides to use the 93 angle
he's the only guy with the footage, to go against it
no matter even if he is a crook
he also has the footage of jordy's father admitting he had a plan against mj to jordy's step father
Pelicano is the man to talk to
unless they know where he kept his audio tapes

Finally someone i can talk law with
see i studied law too,so i understand what you mean
But when you talk of cutting deals
In Molestation case this never happens(only high profile cases, like the director of the movie "Powder"
the common Pedophile who is caught gets 15 years to life
but they usually get out in 5 years, via good behaivor
