I love Jeff Buckley, but he's the kind of singer I very much appreciate as long as I don't listen to his music too often.

Buckley, like very few Rock singer/songwriters had SOUL. And only now I've begun to realize that. He will be missed. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

I've always been amused by how much love this guy gets from the repackaging of the same album over and over, no matter how good it is. "Awards are like hemorrhoids. Sooner or later, every asshole gets one."

Of course he is criminally underrated in the US, but had/has a much larger following around the world.
He was on a par with Kurt Cobain in terms of a tragic musical genius whose life was cut way too short. The Legacy Edition of Live at Sine is one of his best. Sketches for My Sweetheart The Drunk is a brilliant posthumously released album too. He is missed greatly.

it's only been re-released ONCE. get it right before you criticise. i find listings for its release from 1994, 1995, and 2004. as well as one with bonus tracks, one with a bonus DVD, and something called "bonus 7 single", and a 5-disc box set of "the Grace EPs" "Awards are like hemorrhoids. Sooner or later, every asshole gets one."
