Do you guys remember the back up singers that "spun off" from Wham called Pepsi and Shirley? They had a album and performed on a couple of American dance shows (Soul Train, American Bandstand, etc.), but I don't think they had a whole lot of success. I remember Pepsi and Shirley! was my fave band in the 80's. i loved Andrew...guess i knew subconciously George was gay. 'I'm Your Man'...what a great song. i still have the cassette single!!! can u imagine!!  you're only as old as you feel..............so how old do i feel

One of the nicest little known slow tracks they've done is "Like A Baby". I used to use it as a panty remover back in the day. Excellent guitar intro. Too smooth.

Maybe that's why I think they're New Wave.anyway, hairstyles aside, personally I saw tracks like Bad Boys or Young guns always more in the tradition of some Chic Funk of Edwards&Rodgers or similar... but I can see your point.
