Technically, this was a George Michael solo single. It was only released on Make It Big in the States to capitalize on their success.

Great song!!

.. and A Different Corner

...and again, technically a George Michael solo song. Put on the American version of the final EP called music from The Edge Of Heaven to once again cash-in on the popularity of the track.

... and Battlestations

another great tune, and a sign of George starting to mature and write more adult-themed songs.

Of course, you have all forgotten the most entertaining tune in their catalogue:

BAD BOYS

Truly hilarious!!! In this number, they project this bad-ass image of themselves. The video is even funnier! Rebellious George Michael in his leather jacket, going out and partying all night, screwing all the chicks, telling his parent's to go to hell!!! Too funny!!!

I remember when the video to "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" came out, and all the girls were ga-ga over him, and I thought "ummmm, girls? Isn't he queer as a three dollar bill???"

Of course, I always thought Andrew Ridgley was his lover, but George claims that Andrew is 100% hetero, so what do I know??

Well Georgie definitely had a cynical attitude towards women back in the Wham days...

"Hey shut up chick, that's a friend of mine,
Just watch your mouth babe, you're out of line"

Here's another fine Wham! moment - Like A Baby. Luscious!

Well, he WAS wrestling with his sexuality at the time. His cynicism probably stemmed from his repression.

When Emenim finally comes out, people will note that all his misogyny was just his his way of dealing with his repressed homosexuality as well.

Adding to the list, Blue.
Looking back, it's obvious that Wham wouldn't last into the late 80's and early 90's. It fit that early to mid-80's period to the T. Videos were really corny tho.

It's all about 'Freedom' and 'Last Christmas'.

Here's a bit of trivia: the organ that introduces the Faith CD is actually playing 'Freedom'.

LOVED THOSE FELLAS!!!!!

Do you guys remember the back up singers that "spun off" from Wham called Pepsi and Shirley? They had a album and performed on a couple of American dance shows (Soul Train, American Bandstand, etc.), but I don't think they had a whole lot of success.
I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.
