Hello Kate-Fans,
the next Kate Bush Album will definately be released next year. Kate herself wrote to her Fan-Club a little note and confirmed it. The exact date will be given at a later date.

This is what she wrote:

"Hello everyone,

Many thanks for all your great letters of support and encouragement - they mean such a lot.

The album is nearly finished and will be out next year - we'll let you know when. It features some beautiful orchestral movements by Michael Kamen - we had a wonderful day together at Abbey Road studios last winter.

I'm so pleased with everyone's work on this record. There are some lovely performances and I hope you will all feel it's been worth the wait.

Bertie keeps me very busy, he is so much fun and we are all really looking forward to Christmas.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and I hope next year is a really happy one for you.

Yeah, I know she already said she was busy working on a new album in the Q-Magazine Interview. But this time she promised that it will be out next year. I think it is really close.

I just got off phone with Kate, it's true!!

i would love to see/hear a new album by Kate! it's been way over due now. i was just listening to her greatest hits colection, the whole story. what a great cd! she is so talented. i loved how she incorporated modern dance into her stage shows and videos. she's an original!

I guess with the new Tori Album at the end of february the jounalists will have lots of things to write next year. The comparisons will be unavoidable again.

i have really high expectations for this album... i mean, she's had 10 years to work on it

I thought the Red Shoes was pretty lame.... a few good songs, but far from her best work. I'm hoping for something really dark and edgy.... but, i'll take anything!!!
