I have a good friend who absolutely refused to listen to this song for a good year after the album came out. It was just too harsh and wild for her. Now it's one of her very favorites. lol A definite highlight of her live shows.

The flamethrowers on the last tour were insane!

I would love to hear a newly-recorded all vocal version of this song with that possessed throat singer.

To me it seems to be about exorcising your demons, coming out of your skin, getting your ugliness out.

Well, I don't think it's about the planet or the dog. More likely titled that because of Hades (hell).

RanMarJam

cool

Good, good song. I wonder what would have been written and discussed if Homogenic ended with this song?

eek

I remember reading in Spin Magazine a couple of years ago that the song is supposedly about one of her fans that committed suicide because of the fact that she was dating Goldie. confused

Has anyone else read about the above myth? Or am I pulling things out my ass? lol

The title of this thread says it all.

But I'll post anyway. biggrin
When the sunlight strikes raindrops in the air, they act as a prism and form a rainbow. The rainbow is a division of white light into many beautiful colors. Regardless of the day, I'm glad you were born.
