The fact that the two groups are so HIGHLY regarded makes me cringe. That doesn't mean I don't like them, but we are talking about the word LEGEND. We are talking, TLC who is the biggest selling female group of ALL TIME.....that makes me cringe. I like TLC but when it comes to musical talent, those girls are even more limited than Destiny's Child. Chili couldn't hold her own against anyone in Destiny's Child, and although I love T-Boz's voice, she mostly talks, and you guys are going to come after me for this, but although I loved Left Eye's rapping style, just how difficult is it to recite words against someone else's music? I still say rapping is easy.

It sure doesn't take much to satisfy the general public these days and that's a shame.

And I agree about SWV...those girls could SANG.
I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

I didn't know that but I hope you didn't post that to make a point. Apollonia was on a hit record and also got a record deal. So did Vanity. In that case Naomi Cambell released an album, Tyra Banks has a record, and in the 80's even little Kim "tootie" Fields released a song (and performed it on Soul Train) called "Dear Michael", which was a tribute to Michael Jackson. Signing with a record company really doesn't mean squat to some people....like me.

disbelief YOU are comparing Chili to VANITY or APPOLONIA!!!?? NOW THOSE girls couldnt hold a note...lemme try 2 hear Vanity or Apples try to sing "Red Light Special" "If I Was your Girlfriend" "No Scrubs" "Dear Lie" baby Baby Baby"...I mean alot of people cold probably sing it better than T-Boz or Chili, but Apples and Vanity?? NOOOOO!! Thats a criminal act of Music History #2,463 and u are convicted of musical ignorance and bigotry torwards a well respected artist(s).

Then u got the nerve to say that Chili cant sing better than Tyra or Kim Fields.. boo That's a big mamma ass whippin right there...

I have to jump in on this TLC debate. I feel that DC3 are a more interesting group then TLC. I mean TLC is even more manufactued then you guys seem to think DC3 are. TLC were put together by Pebbles. At least Beyonce put her group together when they were 9. The DC3 girls might not emphasize personality that much, but that's because they're a glamazon'd united front. TLC's handlers saw the personalities of the girls and said, "ok you're crazy, you're sexy and you're cool." The TLC girls can't sing. Sure they sound passable on record, but there's no excuse for how downright terrible they sounded on the grammy's a few years ago. DC3 might not be the greatest singers, but I have heard them sing live and they sound better then TLC on their best day. Plus the fact that none of TLC's albums are as entertaining as "Survivor". I should add that Left Eye never sang on a TLC record, she just rapped, which is cool. But Left Eyes raps usually accounted for about 3 to 4 per album. Not much input from 1/3 of a band. And aside from Left Eyes's raps, the girls never wrote much of anything. So all that personality you guys claim was a product of other people. I give DC3 the slight edge in this battle.

Shut yo ass up, Lisa other than rapping was behind co-writing a handull of songs. And Survivor was not that good of an album as Fanmail, or Crazy Sexy Cool.
The fact that u said DC3 doesnt really have any personality skills or humour in interviews or even together just says even more.
It seems like U never seen a interview or a show with T-Boz and Chili just hanging out and talking..and boy..they were funny as hell, oh my god the chemistry with them is so cool. I cant see that in Michelle and beyonce oreven Kelly. It seems more like Kelly and Michelle are the outcasts because the management and media keeps it that way. I felt Kelly Rowland's album was under-rated and shouldve got more plays cuz there were some good jams on there.

Actually they weren't put together by Pebbles. T-Boz and Left Eye were working together in a group before they even met Pebbles. Lisa came up with the idea for "CrazySexyCool", as she did for all of their albums. They weren't controled at all.
