songs from "Ray Ray" played on the radio? I haven't heard any of his songs played on the local hip hop stations where i'm at. Have any of you? I have the album, but was just wondering...

Raphael Saadiq and Ray Ray are the same person...it's just a nickname. Raphael Saadiq (born Charlie Ray Wiggins) was the frontman of R&B group Tony Toni Tone. When he recorded his first solo song, technically "Just Me And You", but officially "Ask Of You," he dropped his last name and picked up "Saadiq" which means "A man of his word." A lot of people thought he converted to the Muslim faith but Saadiq explains that it's just a name. This is his latest album released on Oct. 5, 2004.

Listening to Ray Ray right now. It doesn't grab me like his first solo album. Like there is this one song with a very basic R&B beat. Then, he sings "shoot me with your love" or something like that and then you hear a gun being cocked and then a shot. Then he sings "I heard it go bang". Say what? I think he has run out of ideas. Makes me want a Toni Tony Tone reunion.
